My name is Goldie (pseudonym), founder of the Breaking Silences Project (BSP). Thank you for stopping by. Our mission is to give voice to the pain and victimization of women across America through the medium of their unique and personal stories.

Victims and survivors of partner violence have many different faces. However, the Breaking Silences Project privileges experiences of partner violence toward women, due to the numerous social layers of normalized domination that allow violence toward women to flourish unabated.

With women at the center, we have heard not only from survivors and victims, but also from friends, adult childen, family members, and former batterers. We would now like to hear from you. Partner violence toward women touches us all.

Silence is the sustenance of power and oppression. Let us remain silent no more.
