Since November 2009, women and men from across the U.S. have been sharing their personal accounts of partner violence through the Breaking Silences Project. Their candid, painful, hopeful, and at times, tragic biographies are a testament to both the pervasiveness of intimate partner violence in the U.S. as well as the strength and resiliency of the human spirit.
Join us and others who have lived or are still living through partner violence by sharing your own experiences, feelings, regrets, doubts, and hopes. We implore you to open up your hearts and minds as you are by no means limited in what you are willing to share.
Your voices will be heard via the written word in a published memoir of violence. Proceeds will be applied toward partner violence research and donated to charities dedicated to aiding women and children affected by partner violence.
Join the manuscript and tell your story - our story - one that must be told. |
